The breakfast was good and varied.
Finding the hotel was a nightmare. I spent 30 minutes wandering around because there were no clear signs from the bus station. The front desk staff could have been more welcoming, especially the male staff in the evening. Overall, it left a bad taste in my mouth.

great central base for exploring kyoto's vibrant parks and markets
I truly loved how this place felt so chic and warm, while being just a short walk away from Nishiki Market, making it easy to grab a bite or enjoy local shops during my stay.

Would recommend for a brief pause
Comfortable room, convenient amenities, including tea and coffee making facilities in the room and a fridge, and a quick six-minute walk to the train station make this an ideal stopover for families exploring the city.
Couldn't ask for more.

clean rooms, quiet street, spacious accommodations
The laundry situation could use improvement with only one machine available!!! The room felt cramped when unpacking our large suitcases, a bit more space would be much appreciated!!!

my stay exceeded expectations after a previous visit to kyoto. the room was spacious, clean, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. the location was perfect, just a short walk to popular attractions and yet quiet enough for relaxation.
the breakfast was a bit lackluster.

The breakfast buffet is a delightful affair, offering a fresh take each morning. Plus, the staff is super friendly and helpful, turning my stay into a cozy getaway. Can't forget the prime location near the Gion district with loads of nearby restaurants—check out Katsukura for mouthwatering tonkatsu!
The coffee station on the ground floor missed out during breakfast time for those without a meal plan. Also, only one washing machine and dryer meant a bit of a wait. could use more for convenience.

Comfortable Stay with Helpful Staff
I enjoyed my stay here for three nights. The front desk staff were exceptionally helpful, and the hotel felt very welcoming. I loved the free coffee and soft drinks available throughout the day. For transport, be prepared to walk 10 minutes to the subway – it's worth it for a clean and friendly environment!
